Ambient Sensor

Mounted on the inlet case of the evaporator, along with a compressor ambient switch. Switch disconnects compressor clutch when ambient temperature is below 32°F. Both the sensor and switch protrude into and sense the temperature of the air stream entering the evaporator core.
