Note On INTERMITTENTS
Do not investigate intermittent code if vehicle has history of engine backfires. A backfire can produce a manifold pressure greater than 106 kPa and set this code.
If intermittent code is being set, manipulate related wiring while observing engine data parameter "P.0.2". If failure is induced, reading will jump from normal value to "shorted" reading of 106-108 kPa. This will help to isolate location of malfunction.
