Performance Flow Charts
In some instances, performance problems may occur without setting any trouble codes. Or, when codes are set, some engine difficulties may persist after all codes have been diagnosed and repaired as directed by trouble code chart. In either case, further system diagnosis is possible by using PERFORMANCE FLOW CHARTS. These charts are located after trouble code charts, and are preceded by table indicating which table to use to diagnose specific engine difficulties. See Fig 1 - Fig 3 .
