Engine Control Module (ECM): Removal

1. Remove right hand hush panel.
2. Remove door surround molding and carpet retainer.
3. Fold carpet and pad away from the kick panel to expose the Green ECM connector.
4. Disconnect connectors from ECM.
5. Remove ECM retaining screw. See Fig 1 .
6. Remove glove compartment liner.
7. Loosen the two upper mounting screws of the ECM mounting bracket.
8. Move ECM rearward to disengage the front mounting pin.
9. Pull ECM down.
10. Remove bracket, top and front mounting pin.
