Second Gear Pressure Switch

This is a normally closed switch in the transaxle that opens when second gear oil pressure is applied with sufficient pressure to allow downshifts (second gear oil is available to the switch when the transaxle is in second, third or fourth gear). The second gear switch grounds the second gear input when the transaxle is in first gear or when the transaxle is in first gear or when the transaxle is in second, third, or fourth with low oil pressure (0 volts at the PCM).
