Entering IPC System Self-Diagnostics

NOTE: Although there are no IPC system trouble codes, all trouble codes in memory must be displayed as part the procedure for entering the IPC self-diagnostic system.

The Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) does not produce trouble codes in relation to system malfunctions. The IPC does, however, have self-diagnostic capabilities. To access self-diagnostic capabilities of the IPC system, complete the following:

Enter self-diagnostics. See ENTERING SELF-DIAGNOSTICS under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM in this article.
Display diagnostic codes displayed in memory. See DISPLAYING TROUBLE CODES under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM in this article.
Select IPC system for testing. See Figure . Refer to IPC SPECIFIC INPUT (II) CODES for list of available IPC specific input tests.
