Ignition Coil

- Detach wiring connectors from cap.
- Turn four screws and remove cap and coil assembly from lower housing.
- Connect ohmmeter, test 1, see Fig 1 . Reading should be zero, or nearly zero. If not, replace coil.
- Connect ohmmeter both ways, test 2, see Fig 1 . Use high scale. replace coil only if both readings are infinite.
