UTD System Disarming Check

  1. Exit vehicle. Using key, unlock left door. Alarms should stop. If not, see THEFT DETERRENT MODULE TEST. Check module connector terminal "H".
  2. Rearm system using right front door lock switch. Exit vehicle and close door. System should be armed. SECURITY indicator should stay on for 5 seconds after right door is closed. If not, see THEFT DETERRENT MODULE TEST. Check module connector terminals "G", "M", and "H".
  3. Unlock right door with key and open door. Alarms should not sound as key disarms system. If alarm sounds, see THEFT DETERRENT MODULE TEST. Check module connector terminal "H".
  4. Rearm system. Stay in vehicle, cycle ignition to RUN, then OFF position. Open vehicle door. Alarms should not sound as ignition input to theft deterrent module disarms system only if alarms are not active. If alarm sounds, see THEFT DETERRENT MODULE TEST. Check module connector terminal "K".
