Channel Plate Assembly: Disassembly

  1. Remove manual valve. See Figure .
  2. Remove 3-4 accumulator canister and "O" ring seal.
  3. Remove 3-4 accumulator outer spring, middle spring and inner spring.
  4. Remove 3-4 accumulator pin and 3-4 accumulator piston.
  5. Remove converter clutch accumulator pin and piston (some models).
  6. Remove 4th clutch hub bearing.
