Servo Is Fully Retracted
- Press CCP WARMER button once so override value is 0 percent. Observe servo position. If servo is fully retracted, diagnose Code E61. See appropriate G - TEST W/CODES SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE Section.
- If servo is fully relaxed, verify cruise operation by driving vehicle and attempting to engage cruise. Note CRUISE indicator light. If CRUISE indicator light comes on and cruise is operative, no fault is present.
- If CRUISE indicator light comes on and cruise is inoperative, go to next step. If CRUISE indicator light does not come on and cruise is inoperative, ensure the following conditions exist while attempting to engage cruise. If all of the following conditions exist, replace PCM.
- PCM data vehicle speed is greater than 25 MPH.
- Transaxle is in 2nd, 3rd or 4th gear.
- Cruise/shift interlock/brake switch is okay.
- RESUME/ACCEL and SET/COAST switch circuits are not shorted together.
- No intermittent conditions exist in switch inputs to PCM.
- Check for intermittent conditions in Light Green and Dark Blue/White wire circuits between servo and PCM. Repair as necessary. Check cruise control servo. If servo is okay, replace PCM.
