Will Not Start

  1. Use PASS-Key II(R) Interrogator (J 35628-A) and check if all keys match. Replace keys as necessary. If keys match, connect interrogator to 2-pin lower steering column connector (White/Black and Purple/White wires). Set interrogator to key code found in previous step. Attempt to start vehicle.
  2. If vehicle starts, replace lock cylinder or keys as necessary. If vehicle does not start, check for high resistance in White/Black and Purple/White wires at 2-pin lower steering column connector. If wires are okay, cycle interrogator through all key values until vehicle can be started. Manufacture a new key with correct code that starts vehicle.
