Diagnostic Procedure

Check for Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). See RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS) under SELF-DIAGNOSTICS and perform appropriate DTC test. If DTCs exist, go to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCs) under SELF-DIAGNOSTICS. If no DTCs exist, proceed to PRELIMINARY CHECKS and MEMORY SYSTEM CHECK under SYSTEM CHECKS. After repair is complete, recheck system operation.
