Fuel Door Release Inoperative Using RKE Transmitter
- If system operation check has been performed, go to next step. If system operation check has not been performed, see SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
- Depress instrument panel mounted fuel door release switch. If fuel door release functions properly, go to next step. If fuel door release does not function properly, see POWER TRUNK & FUEL DOOR RELEASE article.
- Check fuel door release function using a second transmitter. If fuel door release functions properly, go to next step. If fuel door release does not function properly, go to step 5).
- Replace faulty keyless entry transmitter. Verify system operation.
- Replace RKE module. Verify system operation.
