DTC U1255: Class 2 Initialization Error: Testing
- If DTC U1255 is current, clear DTCs and cycle ignition. Check for DTCs. If DTC U1255 is set, ensure that all modules are functioning properly by establishing communications with each module.
- DTC U1255 will set continuously if phone override option is set incorrectly. Ensure phone override option is only being used for a factory-installed phone unit.
- Check for intermittent open in Purple wire between individual control modules. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- If DTC U1255 sets intermittently, phone is factory-installed, and no other cause for code can be determined, turn phone override option off. If DTC U1255 is current, diagnose and repair problem in phone system.
