Diagnostic Procedure

  1. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Connect scan tool to data link connector. Using scan tool, clear all DTCs. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. If DTC B2242 still exists, go to next step. If DTC B2242 does exist, go to step 3).
  2. Replace LFPWS. Go to step 5).
  3. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Reconnect or install any connectors or components that were disconnected or removed. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Clear any DTCs. Recheck system operation.
