Test A: All Windows Inoperative
- If power window system check was performed, go to next step. If power window system check was not performed, perform system check. See SYSTEM CHECK under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
- Disconnect power accessory switch panel. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Use test light and probe between switch connector terminal No. 4 (Red wire) and ground. If test light is on, go to next step. If test light is off, go to step 6 .
- Ensure ignition switch is in RUN position. Use test light and probe between switch connector terminal No. 11 (Brown wire) and ground. If test light is on, go to next step. If test light is off, go to step 8 .
- Ensure ignition switch is in RUN position. Use test light and probe between switch connector terminal No. 29 (Yellow wire) and ground. If test light is on, go to next step. If test light is off, go to step 10 .
- Ensure ignition switch is in RUN position. Use test light and probe between switch connector terminal No. 27 (Gray wire) and battery voltage. If test light is on, go to step 14 . If test light is off, go to step 12 .
- Check Red wire between power accessory switch panel and fuse No. 1 for open. If problem was not found, go to next step. If problem was found, repair as necessary, and then go to step 15 .
- Check Red wire between power accessory switch panel and fuse No. 1 for a short to ground. If problem was not found, go to step 13 . If problem was found, repair as necessary, and then go to step 15 .
- Check Brown wire between power accessory switch panel and fuse No. 13 for open. If problem was not found, go to next step. If problem was found, repair as necessary, and then go to step 15 .
- Check Brown wire between power accessory switch panel and fuse No. 13 for a short to ground. If problem was not found, go to step 13 . If problem was found, repair as necessary, and then go to step 15 .
- Check Yellow wire between power accessory switch panel and power window motors for open. If problem was not found, go to next step. If problem was found, repair as necessary, and then go to step 15 .
- Check Yellow wire between power accessory switch panel and power window motors for a short to ground. If problem was not found, go to step 13 . If problem was found, repair as necessary, and then go to step 15 .
- Check Gray/Yellow wire between power accessory switch panel and ground. If problem was not found, go to next step. If problem was not found, go to step 13 . If problem was found, repair as necessary, and then go to step 15 .
- Inspect for poor connections at power accessory switch panel. If problem was not found, go to next step. If problem was found, repair as necessary, and then go to step 15 .
- Replace power accessory switch panel. See POWER ACCESSORY SWITCH PANEL under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Go to next step.
- Operate system in order to verify repair.
