Front-End Discriminating Sensor: Removal

  1. Before proceeding, See AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
  2. Remove off-road skid plate. if equipped. Remove CPA clip from connector and disconnect sensor harness connector. Remove sensor mounting fasteners. Remove sensor. See Figure.
