Removal Procedure

Turn OFF the ignition.
Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to SEAT CUSHION REPLACEMENT - REAR .
Remove the 2 lateral accelerometer sensor mounting nuts.
Disconnect the lateral accelerometer sensor electrical connector (2).
Remove the lateral accelerometer sensor (1) from the mounting studs.
