Auto Dimming Mirror: Programming: Compass: Variance
Magnetic variation adjustments are required when compass displays a constant error in heading. Variation is difference between magnetic north and true north due to geographical location.
- Locate current geographic location. See Fig 1 .
- Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Press and hold on/off switch until zone number appears on compass display.
- Depress on/off switch to change compass to desired zone.
- After selecting zone number, display will show a compass heading after 5 seconds.
