Compass Calibration

Before calibrating compass, drive vehicle to a area that is magnetically clean (free of large metallic objects). Also make sure there are no magnetic objects on inside or outside of vehicle close to inside rearview mirror.

1. Start engine.
2. Press and hold COMPASS switch (on/off switch if equipped with OnStar(R) controls) until the letter "C" is displayed on mirror face.
3. Drive vehicle in circles at a speed of less than 5 MPH until "C" is replaced by a proper vehicle heading. Calibration procedure is now complete.
