Removal & Installation: Notes
CAUTION:
When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION before disconnecting battery.
WARNING:
Electrochromatic material may irritate eyes and skin. In case of eye contact, rinse thoroughly with water. In case of skin contact, wash thoroughly with soap and water. If material is ingested, consult a physician or poison control center immediately.
NOTE:
Electrochromatic mirror cannot be repaired, and must be replaced as an assembly. DO NOT use ammonia-based cleansers on electrochromatic day/night mirrors. Spraying cleansers directly on mirrors is not recommended.
