Removal Procedure

  1. Use a 13 mm (0.5 in) wide flat-bladed tool in order to pry up on the rear edge of the trim plate.
  2. Insert the blade 19 mm (0.75 in) into the door trim in order to engage the retention clip.
  3. Firmly press the flat-bladed tool towards the switch plate (1) for the LF door.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors (2).

  5. Firmly press the flat-bladed tool towards the switch plate (2) for the RF door in order to disengage the retention clip.
    NOTE: The retainer clip must be fully disengaged before the switch plate is removed. Otherwise, damage to the switch plate could result.
  6. Pull the flat bladed tool upward while pressing firmly toward the plate.
  7. Partially pull the switch plate (2) from the trim panel.
  8. Disconnect the electrical connector (1).
  9. Remove the switch plate.
  10. From the back side of the switch plate, gently pry the locking tabs in order to release the following switch (s):
    • Power window switch
    • Power mirror switch
    • Memory function switch
