Engine Electrical Symptoms: Notes

The following steps must be completed before using the symptom table.

• Perform ENGINE ELECTRICAL DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM before using the SYMPTOM INDEX  table in SYSTEM TESTS in order to verify that there are no DTCs set and that the control modules can communicate via the serial data link.
