Installation Procedure

- Install the hood latch (2) to the vehicle.
- Connect the hood latch cable to the hood latch (2).CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
- Install the hood latch bolts (3) to the to the support (1).
Align the latch (2) with the reference mark.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (97 lb in).
- Close the hood.
- Adjust the hood if necessary. Refer to Hood Adjustment .
