Installation Procedure

  1. Install the steering wheel.
  2. Align the steering wheel with the mark on the steering shaft.
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  3. Install steering wheel retaining nut.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the steering wheel nut to 41 N.m (30 lb ft).

  4. Connect the steering wheel electrical connector.
  5. Install the SIR module. Refer to REMOVAL & INSTALLATION .
  6. Enable the SIR system. Refer to ACTIVATING SYSTEM .
