Wiper Arms: Installation

Position passenger side wiper arm so wiper blade tip aligns with Orange dot on lower outer edge of windshield. Position driver side wiper arm so that wiper blade tip aligns with Orange line on lower center of windshield. Install wiper arm onto wiper arm drive spindle.
Hold wiper arm into position while tightening nut. Install nut on wiper arm. Tighten nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
Secure upper hood assist rods onto assist rod ball studs located on hood assembly. Install wiper arm nut covers. Close hood assembly. Operate wipers and wash pattern in order to verify operation. See Fig 3 . Verify driver side wiper does not exceed wipe area.
