Torque Converter Clutch/Cruise Control Release Switch: Installation

  1. Connect the electrical connector to the torque converter clutch/cruise release switch (3).
  2. Install the TCC cruise release switch (3) into the upper retainer.
  3. Adjust the torque converter clutch/cruise release switch. See TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH/CRUISE CONTROL RELEASE SWITCH  under ADJUSTMENTS.
  4. Install the left closeout/insulator panel as follows:
    1. Connect the courtesy lamp electrical connector (1). See Figure.
    2. Align the closeout panel on the I/P.
    3. Install the closeout retaining fastener (2). Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
