Installation Procedure

Connect the electrical connector to the mirror.
Slide the mirror onto the support base.
NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
Install the screw to the base.
Tighten

Tighten the screw to 1.8 N.m (16 lb in).

Secure the electrical harness cover to the rearview mirror.
Reposition the mirror.
Calibrate the mirror. Refer to COMPASS CALIBRATION AND VARIANCE PROCEDURE .
