Installation Procedure

  1. Install the high mount stoplamp to the rear compartment lid applique.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the fasteners in order to secure the high mounted stoplamp to the rear compartment lid applique.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the high mounted stoplamp fasteners to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  3. Connect the high mount stoplamp electrical connector.
  4. Install the rear compartment lid applique to the rear compartment lid. Refer to BODY REAR END in Body Rear End.
  5. Close the rear compartment.
