Installation Procedure

  1. Position the short drive cable into the seat adjuster.
  2. Line up the square end of the cable with the motor.
  3. Slide the motor on to the cable.

  5. Install the long drive cable (1) into the motor.
  6. Install the long cable into the seat adjuster.
  7. Ensure that both cables are fully seated.
  8. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  9. Install the motor retaining screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

  10. Connect the electrical connectors.
  11. Install the seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Replacement - Front .
  12. Install the seat assembly. Refer to Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  13. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 7 or to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 9 in SIR.
  14. If the vehicle is equipped with memory seats, calibrate the seat. Refer to Memory Seat Calibration Procedure .
