Installation Procedure

- Install the rear coil spring and the lower control arm to jack.
- Raise the jack until lower control arm and rear coil spring is in position in the frame.
- Install the lower control arm to frame mounting bolt and nut (1).
Tighten: Tighten the nut (1) to 150 N.m (111 lb ft).
- Install the lower control arm to knuckle mounting bolt.
Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 175 N.m (129 lb ft).
- Install the lower shock mounting bolt.
Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 150 N.m (111 lb ft).
- Install a new rear wheel drive shaft nut.
Tighten: Tighten the nut to 160 N.m (118 lb ft).
- Connect the stabilizer shaft link to the lower control arm.
- Install the stabilizer shaft link retaining nut.
Tighten: Tighten the nut to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
- Lower the jack.
- Install the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Check the wheel alignment. Refer to Measuring Wheel Alignment in Wheel Alignment.
