Installation Procedure

Install the shift control cable to the vehicle.

Install the cable end cap to the floor shift assembly.
Install the console center trim panel. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL, GAGES, AND CONSOLE in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
Install the left closeout insulator panel. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL, GAGES, AND CONSOLE or INSTRUMENT PANEL, GAGES, AND CONSOLE in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.

Install the cable into the retaining bracket. Push down on the locking tab.
Install the cable end cap to the transmission position switch lever.
