Removal Procedure

Open the door.
Remove the door trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE FRONT DOOR .
Remove the water deflector. Refer to WATER DEFLECTOR REPLACEMENT - FRONT DOOR .
Remove the door check link cover (2).

Remove the two studs from the door check link arm.

Note the position of the arrow on the check link arm to aid in reassembly.
Remove the two fasteners from the check link.

Remove the check link from the door.
