Installation Procedure

Clean out all traces of dirt and other contaminants from the air cleaner base and lid.

Place the air cleaner element between the assembly halves with the 2 locating tabs positioned down.

IMPORTANT: Ensure that the air cleaner assembly halves are properly fitted to each other.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Tighten the 2 air cleaner element screws.
Tighten: Tighten the air cleaner element screws to 8 N.m (71 lb in).
