Removal Procedure
- Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (Standard) or Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (WC2, WC8) .
- Remove the door module. Refer to Door Control Module Replacement .
- Remove the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door .
- Remove the garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Front Door Frame .
- Remove the window inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Window Belt Inner .
- Remove the window. Refer to Window Replacement - Front Door (Standard Door) or Window Replacement - Front Door (RPO WC2 and WC8) or Window Replacement - Front Door (RPO CW2 and WC8 w/ Stationary Window) .
- Remove the window regulator. Refer to Window Regulator Replacement - Front Door (Standard Door) or Window Regulator Replacement - Front Door (RPO WC2 and WC8) .
- Remove the door latch. Refer to Latch Replacement - Front Door .
- Remove the outside door handle. Refer to Door Handle Replacement - Front Outside .
- Remove the window run channel. Refer to Window Run Channel Replacement - Front Door .
- Remove the reveal molding. Refer to Reveal Molding Replacement - Front Door Window .
- Remove the outside rear view mirror. Refer to Mirror Replacement - Power .
- Remove the weatherstrip. Refer to Weatherstrip Replacement - Front Door .
- Remove the front auxiliary sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Auxiliary .
- Remove the bottom auxiliary sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Bottom Auxiliary .
- Disconnect the wiring harness retainers from the inner door panel.
- Pull the rubber conduit and the wiring harness out through the opening at the front of the door.
- Remove all the plastic nuts and retainers from the door shell.
- Remove the check link. Refer to Door Check Link Replacement - Front .
- Support the door.
- Remove the hinge to door nuts.
- Remove the door, with an assistant.
