Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (Standard)  or Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (WC2, WC8) .
  2. Remove the door module. Refer to Door Control Module Replacement .
  3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door .
  4. Remove the garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Front Door Frame .
  5. Remove the window inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Window Belt Inner .
  6. Remove the window. Refer to Window Replacement - Front Door (Standard Door)  or Window Replacement - Front Door (RPO WC2 and WC8)  or Window Replacement - Front Door (RPO CW2 and WC8 w/ Stationary Window) .
  7. Remove the window regulator. Refer to Window Regulator Replacement - Front Door (Standard Door)  or Window Regulator Replacement - Front Door (RPO WC2 and WC8) .
  8. Remove the door latch. Refer to Latch Replacement - Front Door .
  9. Remove the outside door handle. Refer to Door Handle Replacement - Front Outside .
  10. Remove the window run channel. Refer to Window Run Channel Replacement - Front Door .
  11. Remove the reveal molding. Refer to Reveal Molding Replacement - Front Door Window .
  12. Remove the outside rear view mirror. Refer to Mirror Replacement - Power .
  13. Remove the weatherstrip. Refer to Weatherstrip Replacement - Front Door .
  14. Remove the front auxiliary sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Auxiliary .
  15. Remove the bottom auxiliary sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Bottom Auxiliary .
  16. Disconnect the wiring harness retainers from the inner door panel.
  17. Pull the rubber conduit and the wiring harness out through the opening at the front of the door.
  18. Remove all the plastic nuts and retainers from the door shell.
  19. Remove the check link. Refer to Door Check Link Replacement - Front .
  20. Support the door.
  21. Remove the hinge to door nuts.
  22. Remove the door, with an assistant.
