Installation Procedure

  1. Position the BPMV bracket in the vehicle.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the two BPMV bracket bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).

  3. Lower the vehicle.

  4. Place the EBCM/BPMV in the bracket.
  5. Tighten the two insulator nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 12 N.m (106 lb in).
