Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the power steering pump mounting bolts to the power steering pump.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
Install the following components to the power steering pump:
- The power steering reservoir outlet pipe/hose. Refer to Power Steering Reservoir Outlet Pipe/Hose Replacement .
- The power steering pressure hose. Refer to Power Steering Pressure Pipe/Hose Replacement .
Install the power steering pump pulley. Refer to Power Steering Pulley Replacement .
Install the power steering fluid reservoir. Refer to Remote Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Replacement .
Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Bleeding the Power Steering System .
