Removal Procedure

IMPORTANT: DO NOT separate the upper intake manifold from the lower intake manifold.

Remove the upper intake manifold with the lower intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement - Lower in Engine Mechanical - 2.8L (LP1).
Remove the intake manifold runner control solenoid bolts.
Remove the intake manifold runner control solenoid.
