Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the secondary AIR relay bracket retaining nuts (2).
  2. Remove the secondary AIR relay bracket (1) from the mounting studs.

  3. Remove the surge tank retaining nut (2) and bolt (3).
  4. Position and support the surge tank out of the way.

  5. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement in Engine Mechanical-4.6L.
  6. Using J 25034-C  remove the power steering pump pulley. See Special Tools .
