Component Testing
- Connect the AIR pump to fused battery voltage and ground and observe pressurized airflow at the pump outlet.
- If pressurized airflow is not observed, replace the pump.
- Remove the AIR pump relay. Measure resistance through the relay contacts at infinite ohms.
- If resistance measures less than infinite ohms, replace the relay.
- Connect the AIR pump relay coil connections to fused battery voltage and ground. Measure resistance through the relay contacts at 0 ohms.
- If resistance measures more than 0 ohms, replace the relay.
