Installation Procedure

  1. Install the seat back frame to the lower seat assembly.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
    IMPORTANT: Use a treat locking compound on the hinge bolts.
  2. Install the hinge bolts and nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).

  3. Connect the wire harness retainers to the seat back.
  4. Install the seat belt buckle pretensioner. Refer to Seat Belt Buckle Pretensioner Replacement .
  5. Install the hook and loop at the end of the seat cushion cover.
  6. Install the seat back cushion. Refer to Driver Seat Back Cushion Pad Replacement  or to Driver Seat Back Cushion Pad Replacement .
  7. Install the seat assembly. Refer to Seat Replacement .
