  1. With a scan tool, verify the VIN stored in the BCM matches the vehicle VIN.
    • If the VIN does not match, program the BCM with the correct VIN.
  2. With a scan tool, verify the VIN stored in the object alarm module matches the vehicle VIN.
    • If the VIN does not match, program the object alarm module with the correct VIN.
