Installation Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .

Install the wiper motor onto the wiper drive system module with the 2 bolts.
Tighten

Tighten the bolts to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

Connect the drive link onto the wiper motor crank arm using the J 39529 .

Install the wiper drive system module on the vehicle.

Install the 4 bolts.
Tighten

Tighten the bolts to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

Connect the electrical connector to the wiper motor.
Install the air inlet grille panel. Refer to AIR INLET GRILLE PANEL REPLACEMENT .
Install the wiper arms. Refer to Wiper Arm Replacement .
Operate the wipers and inspect for proper operation.
