Circuit/System Testing
IMPORTANT:
Circuit/System Verification must be performed before proceeding.
- Disconnect the EVAP purge pipe from the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve.
- Start the engine.
- Observe the FTP sensor with a scan tool.
- If the Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor parameter is less than 1.7 volts, replace the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve.
- If the Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor parameter is greater than 1.7 volts, replace the FTP sensor.
