Component Name

Preliminary Procedures

Remove the sight shield. Refer to Front Compartment Side Sight Shield Replacement .
Remove the air cleaner duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement .
Disconnect the MAF/IAT sensor harness connector.

Screw (Qty: 3)

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten: 4 N.m (35 lb in)

Air Cleaner Element

Procedure

Reposition the surge tank bypass hose as necessary.
Disconnect the MAF sensor wiring harness.
Lift the air cleaner cover in order to remove the air cleaner element.
