Circuit/System Testing

Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the EBCM.
Ignition OFF and all vehicle systems OFF. It may take up to 2 minutes for all vehicle systems to power down. Test for less than 10 Ω between the ground circuits listed below and ground:
- Terminal 16
- Terminal 45
- If greater than the specified range, test the ground circuit for an open/high resistance.
Ignition ON, verify that a test lamp illuminates between the B+ circuits listed below and ground:
- Terminal 2
- Terminal 31
- If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the B+ circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal and the B+ circuit fuse is open, replace the brake pressure modulator valve assembly.
If all circuits test normal, replace the brake pressure modulator valve assembly and verify DTC does not reset. If the DTC resets replace the EBCM.
