Setup for Component Replacement

The replacement of some components will require a setup procedure for complete repair.

If any of the following components are replaced, a CKP Variation Learn Procedure must be performed. Refer to Crankshaft Position System Variation Learn for the 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L or 6.2L and Crankshaft Position System Variation Learn for the 6.0L Hybrid.

• Engine replacement
• Any engine repair that disturbs the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor or its relationship with the crankshaft reluctor wheel
• CKP sensor

• If the throttle body is replaced or a throttle body cleaning procedure is completed, the Throttle/Idle Learn Procedure must be performed. Refer to the following:

• Throttle/Idle Learn for the 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L or 6.2L
• Throttle/Idle Learn for the 6.0L Hybrid
