Preliminary Procedures

  1. If replacing rear coils, remove the rear intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement - Rear .
  2. If replacing front coils, remove the front intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement - Front .
1 Ignition Coil Bolt
CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER CAUTION .

Tighten:  12 N.m (106 lb in)
2 Ignition Coil

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  2. Disconnect the ignition cable.
