Installation Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  1. Install the auxiliary battery relay and nuts and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  3. Install the auxiliary battery positive cable to the auxiliary battery relay.
  4. Install the auxiliary battery positive cable nut (4) to the battery relay stud and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
  5. Position the auxiliary battery positive cable boot (5) to the auxiliary battery relay stud.
  6. Connect the auxiliary battery positive cable electrical connector (1) to the battery relay.

  8. Install the auxiliary battery positive cable to the auxiliary battery relay.
  9. Install the auxiliary battery positive cable nut (6) to the battery relay stud and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
  10. Position the auxiliary battery positive cable boot (5) to the auxiliary battery relay stud.
  11. Connect the auxiliary battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (With Single Battery) , Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (With Auxiliary Battery)  or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (With Dual Batteries) .
