Installation Procedure

Assemble the fuel system as follows:

1. Install the fuel injectors and fuel rail. Refer to Refer to Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Assembly Replacement - Bank 1 (LF1, LFW)  and Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Assembly Replacement - Bank 2 (LF1, LFW) .
2. Install the fuel module assemblies. Refer to Primary Fuel Tank Module Replacement (NT7, NU5)  or Primary Fuel Tank Module Replacement (NA3, NE9, NF9)  or Primary Fuel Tank Module Replacement (China)  and Secondary Fuel Tank Module Replacement .
3. If required, install the fuel filter. Refer to Fuel Filter Replacement (China) .
4. Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service  in order to connect the following quick connect fittings to the fuel rail:
   • The feed hose/pipe
   • The return hose/pipe
